​​SLS is a local family-owned and operated senior care company. Because we are not a franchise, we are able to provide better compensation to our caregivers. They are our most valued resource and we treat them as such. We are dedicated to providing our clients with the highest level of senior care services, the most highly trained caregivers, and unmatched compassion for our clients and their loved ones. We take great care to hire only the best, most compassionate, and most trustworthy caregivers in our area, and we continuously train our caregivers to be better at what they do, placing equal importance on technical proficiency and emotional intelligence.

Established caregivers do request time off, now and then. This time off schedule varies based on the need of the caregiver and the case of the client. The family will be provided with advanced notice and the schedule of the upcoming request. We will make every effort to obtain a fill-in caregiver with comparable personality and experience to make the transition smooth and seamless.

​Our caregivers are carefully selected for their experience, certifications and training in the home care field. They are thoroughly screened through an extensive interview, state background check, references, and employment history. Our caregivers are also provided with ongoing education and are compliant with Illinois Department of Public Health Public Health Act 100-1074.
