Since 1998, our not-for-profit program has served all seniors, age 60 and over, who live in McHenry County or Sun City Huntley. Our mission is to help seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life by remaining in their own homes or the home of a loved one for as long as possible. Volunteers help us achieve our mission by providing services such as transportation to life critical, life-sustaining as well as life-enriching destinations, friendly visits, minor home repairs, yard work, and shopping all at absolutely no charge to the senior. |
Senior Services Associates, Inc. is a non-profit agency dedicated to sustaining and improving the quality of life for individuals age 60 and older, the disabled and their caregivers by providing access to the social services they need. We are dedicated to preserving their independence, promoting mental and physical well-being and protecting their rights and dignity. |
Veterans Path to Hope is a non-profit resource that was created to provide hope, strengthen confidence, improve family life and uncover the options needed to meet the physical, emotional and other life challenges that many military veterans face in their daily lives. We recognize that life can be challenging and we work hard to forge a tight bond of trust with veterans who come seeking a new path to overcoming current barriers. Our staff have experience, directly or indirectly, with military life and can understand and empathize with many of the issues they encounter. We listen to all veterans’ needs, be they major or minor, emotional or physical, and develop true partnerships. Together, we find options as we personally commit to providing the support a veteran might need to maintain, improve, and, in some cases, even save his or her life.
