CEO & Founder
Laurie Teator
Laurie launched the company from her dining room over a decade ago after caring for her own parents and others in her community, turning a vision into a thriving business. Her leadership is rooted in passion, perseverance, and a deep commitment to building meaningful connections. Outside of work, Laurie enjoys gardening, spending time with her family, and getting lost in a good book.

Home Care Director
Sean Chilonga
Sean began his journey as a caregiver for Laurie’s parents, which gave him a deep understanding of the compassion and dedication the role requires. Today, he brings that same empathy and experience to leading the caregiver team, building strong connections that foster trust and support. Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending time with friends, hanging out with his pug Ziggy, and exploring new restaurants.

Administrator
Evan Teator
After more than seven years in the corporate world as an IT project manager, Evan brought his expertise to the family business with a mission to make care more accessible and seamless. His background in technology and systems helps reduce barriers for those seeking support. In his free time, Evan enjoys exercising, cooking, and diving into a good book.

Business Development Specialist
Eric Blum
With a background in customer service and jewelry, Eric brings years of experience in building relationships and understanding clients’ needs. At SLS, he uses that expertise to help families explore how they can age in place with dignity and confidence. Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, kids, and their dog Oakley — and he never misses a good horror movie.

Marketing Specialist & Clinical Liaison
Amanda Nelson
With nearly two decades of clinical and nursing experience, Amanda first joined SLS as a clinical manager, bridging the gap between home care and home health. Today, she brings her advanced marketing expertise to her new role, fostering meaningful relationships and partnerships throughout the community. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and dogs — and when she isn’t with them, she’s likely studying for her next degree on her ever-growing list.
